Monday night I jumped in a plane for a very short trip (less than 24h) to attend two events :
- Tim Ho's Hong Kong Tweetup which was AWE....wait for it...SOME! I had the pleasure to met real (Tim Ho, Didier, Gregory Lent...) and virtual (André Martin, Perri Gorman...) friends with very geeky and social medias conversation around beers and Kebabs (But a damn' drunk guy has stolen the Taiwanese cakes box that I prepared for a friend -_-;)
- The Hong Kong University's 181th Congregation where thousand of graduands like me were awarded the grade of Bachelor/Master/Doctor. It was quite impressive for me given the size of the event, in France we simply don't have anything like this (For instance you can take a look at this picture showing my cousin (proud of you, man!) who is a Doctor in Law since Monday, it's much more...small :) ).
It was trully memorable (especially the moment where I had to wear that stupid unwearable gown! It's very difficult if you aren't helped by a friend) but short because right after the ceremony I had to run to the airport (1km far) to take my plane back to Taipei.
PS : Yes I wore my Bruce Lee tie!!!
